Fabra i Coats: creative factory
The former Fabra i Coats yarn and fabric factory is an emblematic building deeply rooted in the rich history of the Sant Andreu neighbourhood. Fabra i Coats - Creative Factory is a municipal facility that hosts all phases of the creative and knowledge production - research, creation, production and exhibition - ensuring that these processes have access to the established networks and dissemination circuits in Barcelona and beyond. The mission of La Fabra is to offer spaces and resources to artists, collectives and cultural agents, as well as to provide training resources, support and visibility to their projects. As a space for artistic dissemination, La Fabra generates and hosts an intense programme of public activities linked to contemporary art and culture. These city-focused programmes help to reinforce the Sant Andreu neighbourhood as a creative and cultural hub.
