Hailing from the landscapes of western Ireland and now based in the UK, o.utlier is an electronic musician whose work thrives in the spaces where patience is rewarded. Drawing inspiration from classical, drone, deep house and bass, his productions explore the interplay of pure electronics and acoustic music - evoking both cerebral and instinctive reactions. His debut album - Alaya - released last year, exemplifies this approach, blending slow-burning dub/IDM-laced grooves with heavily processed field recordings. Beyond his solo work, he also releases darker, experimental material under his Pagan Red alias. He is also the co-founder of Titrate Records, a label dedicated to experimental live sonics and spatial sound.
